Green Umbrella
Brochure & Pamphlet Design | Spring 2024
Objective | Develop five one-page flyers or booklets that outline each of Green Umbrellas's internal programs and the company itself. These materials are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding for those who are new or unfamiliar with Green Umbrella, highlighting the importance of each program in the collective mission.
Green Umbrella is a Climate collaborative and non-profit that focuses on helping the region become more green and energy-efficient to combat climate change.
Who is Green Umbrella?
Being Cincinnati's Regional Climate Collaborative, they have several internal programs focusing on a range of categories. The primary goals for these booklets included:
Describe who each company is and what their goals are.
Simplifying the information about each program to fit in a one-page booklet.
Explaining how it connects the larger organization and goals of Green Umbrella.
Following the Brand
Green Umbrella had recently undergone a rebranding before I began this project. I was handed their brand guides to follow for this project, ensuring all components were
consistent throughout.
consistent throughout.
Brand Materials
Initial Layouts
I sketched out some initial ideas for the layout. I wanted to ensure the design was consistent enough with their existing print materials to be recognizable but not so much so that the information hierarchy did not improve.
Making a Template
After the initial digital drafts were made, I needed to review the written information and simplify it. Their brand image has many visual elements, so less is more when it comes to type.
